Rug and Home is a great repeat client of Retail Store Painting. We have completely painted the exterior of three of their locations to date. Two locations were in North Carolina and this 3rd location was located in Gaffney, South Carolina. We offered this customer a great quality paint job at a fair competitive price. We did not disrupt any customers of Rug and Homes, and we did not interfere with any day to day operations of the store. Above you can see the before pictures when the top sign band completely covered with banners. Our first step was to remove all of the banners and patch all of the screw holes in the metal sign band.
Our next step was to pressure was the exterior of the entire building. We removed all dirt, debris, and loose peeling paint to insure a clean paintable surface for our paint to properly adhere to. There was also a great deal of oxidation that had to be completely removed due to aging, elements, and direct sunlight.
The metal sign band, and metal roofing was then painted by airless paint spray. Two coats of Sherwin Williams DTM (direct to metal ) acrylic paint was applied to ensure good coverage and long lasting protection.
Retail Store Painting then applied 2 coats of Sherwin Williams Elastomeric waterproof coating to all masonry surfaces. This latex based waterproof coating is easily applied by spray and then was back-rolled. Elastomeric paint protects from water intrusion, prevents efflorescence, and fills small hairline cracks. Retail Store Painting partners with all the top major paint suppliers to have access to, and knowledge of, all of the highest quality, proper materials for each individual situation.
Above is the final product we gave our valued client, a nice and clean, vibrant, high quality commercial paint job that will last for many years to come with very minimal maintenance. We stand behind every commercial painting project we complete anywhere in the U.S. and will return promptly to correct any issues that may arise. If by chance there is ever a manufacturers warranty issue we will deal the paint manufacturers direct to solve the issue fast and properly.
