High-Rise & Swing Stage Painting Excellence | RSP Painting
When your project reaches heights that ladders and booms can’t touch, you need a contractor with the specialized equipment and safety certifications to get the job done. RSP Painting is a leader in Swing Stage (Suspended Scaffold) Painting, providing high-performance coating solutions for high-rise exteriors, industrial silos, and multi-story commercial structures.
From luxury condominiums to massive industrial complexes, we bring the precision of ground-level painting to the skyline.
The Advantage of Swing Stage Access
Swing stages are the gold standard for high-rise maintenance. They provide a stable, versatile platform that allows our craftsmen to perform meticulous prep work and application that simply isn’t possible from a rope or a shaky lift.
-
Full-Surface Access: Reach every inch of a building’s facade, including recessed windows and architectural details.
-
Superior Surface Prep: Provides the stability needed for pressure washing, abrasive blasting, and localized masonry repairs.
-
Cost-Efficiency: On tall structures, swing stages are often more cost-effective and less disruptive to ground-level traffic than massive scaffolding or specialized booms.
-
Safety First: Our rigs are OSHA-compliant, featuring secondary braking systems and independent life-safety lines for every technician.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Does a swing stage damage the roof or the building? Not at all. We use specialized outrigger beams and padded stand-offs designed to distribute weight safely across the building’s structural points. We protect parapet walls and roofing membranes with heavy-duty padding during the entire process.
How do you handle high winds? Safety is our priority. We monitor local wind speeds constantly. If gusts exceed 20–25 mph (depending on the specific rig and building height), we safely secure the stage at the ground or a designated tie-in point until conditions improve.
Are your painters insured for high-rise work? Yes. RSP Painting carries comprehensive Workers’ Comp and General Liability insurance specifically rated for high-rise and suspended scaffold work. We can provide COIs (Certificates of Insurance) naming you as additionally insured upon request.
Can you do masonry repairs from a swing stage? Absolutely. While we are up there painting, we often perform “wet sealing,” caulking, and minor concrete (spall) repairs. It is the most cost-effective time to address building envelope issues.
How long does it take to set up? Most swing stage systems can be rigged and safety-tested within one business day, allowing us to begin production almost immediately.
